Most of you probably noticed that I'm a huge fan of Things Fall Apart, everything they've put out has been amazing so far (and they've released quite a bit). So, now here we have a new EP, and if you're not familiar with them (shame on you) they play a raw, honest and intense form of screamo/emo and are on the best bands that do so. On this EP however, they decided to go a different way, they announced a while back that they were gonna release a powerviolence ep and that is exactly what this one is. But the cool thing is, these guys are just having fun, and I can honestly say this EP is one of the best heavy things I've heard in a while! These four songs are heavy, in your face and extremely well executed; and the awesome thing is that you can still hear that it's Things Fall Apart playing this. I highly recommend this one, and if you feel like it then donate something for their new van, because I know you all want to see them live sometime soon!

I think I just found myself a new favourite band. Heard they were recording a cover for the Toxicbreeds Comp, checked them out and instantly fell in love. Everything about this band is just "right", musically it"s all just perfect - melodic and emotional guitar work that ranges from energetic to ambient in seconds topped with shreddy solos, tight drums, great bass parts. Vocally they sound a bit similar to "marching to the beat of a dead horse"-era Touché Amoré - only somewhat "stronger", and to me that was the best work they put out so no complaints here either. Sometimes they even remind me of Basement, mostly musically I guess but I can't even say why that is, it's just a feeling I get. Lyrics are passionate, honest and just straight up good. Really, can't say anything bad about this band other than that they don't have any shirts in their bigcartel anymore. Check this out! Best things I've heard in a long long time!
