This is actually a very solid record. Not the most conventional vocals you've ever heard and it's possible you first have to 'get into' them , but once you're over that, you'll realize this is one of the better albums of 2012 if you're into this genre (ffo: Counterparts, It Prevails..). Vocalists from Counterparts, It Prevails, Saints Never Surrender and Jay Maas from Defeater make their appearance as guest vocal on this record, which is freakin' awesome

Enjoyed this band's previous full length 'Heart Remains' a lot. Tight metalcore riffs and the occasional melodic tunes with strong vocals. They yet seemed to have changed their previous sound a bit in a more melodic way.

The Inequity are a fast Melodic Hardcore band from Belgium. They showed people what they're capable of by releasing a solid EP and a pretty great full length, and now they're back with their new " Sons Of Irony EP". The first thing you'll probably notice is the rawness of their sound, which is a good thing to me personally since I don't like bands that sound too polished. This one has a good DIY sound to it and I can always appreciate that. As far as progress and the music goes I can only say they stepped their game up, as they did every release before. They come great melodic riffs with solid drums and intense vocals which is always a winning combination. It is also a good thing that it isn't so damn packed with breakdowns, since most bands these days just throw in a whole lot breakdowns to disguise the fact they ran out of inspiration. I really like this, so go check them out and support them any way you can!

I was impressed by their previous Ep and now they're able to i mpress me even more. This is what I like to call a perfect example of progression. So much more mature sounding, better recording quality, tighter and better worked out song structures. This band will get somewhere with their passion. For fans of The Ghost Inside, (a rougher version of) Hundredth.

I there is one genre I've completely grown out of it's metalcore. I used to like it quite a bit a few years back but lately I can't name one band that plays it that I enjoy. Still, Stick To Your Guns used to be on eof my favourite bands when I was still into the genre, and for old times sake I decided to give this a spin. To my surprise I actually enjoyed it! I was these guys live once and they were pretty awesome then, and I always love their lyrics and the passion their vocalist brings tot the table. Anyway, I think you should actually try this, it's better than "The Hope Division" (apart from two songs that was one hell of a terrible album) in my opinion.

I remember them from their split with Counterparts and I already digged this band back then. Their chaotic parts and nice guitarwork even remind me from time to time of a more raw and darker Counterparts. Another reason to like them is because of the vocals that carry lots of energy with a dark and 'doomish' touch. Fun fact; Counterparts' vocalist, Brendan Murphy, features on the song Misled.
