Genre: Chaotic Hardcore
"Combining chaos and emotion fueled melodic hooks, Caravan is a force to be reckoned with. Their first release, Chaos is Ours, gives you a taste of what they're capable of.
Kicking it off with 'Vow', the band makes a bold statement. Take an agressive intro, combine it with some groove, soothe the pain with some melody and top it off with a sludgy outro.
Next up is Young and Forgotten. This track combines two tracks: an elevating melodic part, smashed to smithereens by it's chaotic brother The End. This shift between the two personalities of Caravan keeps the music from getting boring.
In Dahlia, the band leaves alone the chaos. This emotional serenade is a welcome resting point throughout the EP.
No Sleep shows band hasn’t forsaken its roots. This straight-on hardcoretrack, obligatory breakdown included, keeps the EP going with its relentless speed. Nonetheless, the band never fails to make it its own.
Chaos is Ours is without a doubt Caravans strongest track off of this release. In this song Caravan shows their true identity. Hard-hitting, groovy, chaotic and schizophrenic: they’ve kept the best for last.
Schizophrenia never sounded better."
I feel the same way, get into this.
