This band deserves to be so much bigger than they are . This four songed Ep is mind blowing if you're into this genre (Counterparts, Climates..). The music is împressive, a bit technical, yet sometimes catchy as well, the guitars alone will haunt your head for days. Powerfull vocals brought with passion and a cool appearance of Real Friends's vocalist made the whole Ep even better.

One of the few bands signed to Victry Records that is an actual good band (besides Counterparts and Comeback Kid). I admit it's not the easiest band to get into, but holy fuck once you do they're amazing. They remind me of The Chariot, The Dillinger Escape Plan and sometimes I hear a touch of La Dispute in it (but that might just be me). This is a real solid record and I really advise them to you if you're into this type if music.

Climates is turning out to be one of my favourite bands from the UK. The progress they show with every new release is truly phenomenal. 'What Means The Most' turned out to be one of my favourite newcomers of 2012, but believe it or not, this two songed Ep is even better. Better song structure, recording quality, vocals, guitar work.. If you're into (more melodic versions of) Saints Never Surrender, Counterparts etc. Climates will definitely be your cup of tea.

I can already tell you now for sure that this will probably be one of my favourite releases of 2013. Holy shit, this record has everything I love; from the cool riffs, to the perfectly high noted-goosbump-giving tones, to the amazing progressive drumwork and the wonderful vocals that show a lot of energy and on the other hand a lot of passion that scream out amazingly well written lyrics. This record will be on repeat for a very long time!

I discovered this band by coincidence and I'm pretty happy I did. It's actually quite hard to describe their sound, because they've been influenced by several genres I believe; they simply added their own touch to the music they like to play; no conventions , just straight up honest music. Great lyrics as well btw. They reminded me a bit of bands like Apart, Touché Amoré and even a bit La Dispute. Make sure to check out their previous release too, though that one has a bit more of a melodic hardcore sound, nonetheless amazing.

This is actually a very solid record. Not the most conventional vocals you've ever heard and it's possible you first have to 'get into' them , but once you're over that, you'll realize this is one of the better albums of 2012 if you're into this genre (ffo: Counterparts, It Prevails..). Vocalists from Counterparts, It Prevails, Saints Never Surrender and Jay Maas from Defeater make their appearance as guest vocal on this record, which is freakin' awesome

Birds In Row managed to impress me from the very start. They play such an awesome and original style of music within hardcore, you can't do anything but applaud that. Ever since the news came they were on Deathwish, you just knew they were gonna go and impress everyone with this release, so here you go, judge for yourself but I guarantee that this will end up in your album of year lists somewhere near the top 5. I simply loved their previous Ep, Hollow, and to be honest I was really hoping for them to release something new, because I couldn't get enough of their progressive sound (reminded me a lot of Counterparts). They show with this single song that it is possible to create an even better and more mature sound than before (which to me seemed quite difficult, because their previous release was amazing). Show them some love!
